This book is so interesting even the most reluctant reader will want to snatch it up and read about the wide variety of killer ants.The story starts out with the exciting scenario of the zookeeper and his men trying to make sure the animals are safe from attack, an approach that will rivet the reader.The artwork is very well done and quite appealing.I like the blend of facts and how the author gives his writing a little bit of zip by adding a little vignette about something that happened with the ants.For example, it was very interesting to learn about how "some cruel kings used to punish criminals" in Africa with driver ants.This book is fun, informative and will be a sure fire winner with kids and adults alike!
