I'm glad I'm not the only one.I've read this story before but I don't see where it lists any other editions of this same book.If I wanted to read this story again I would have bought 2 copies the first time. I wasn't that impressed with the story it had some parts that were just too unbelievable.

DC Blood Brothers Review

I just want to say that I purchased this book based on the reviews that were given by the other readers and I was very disappointed in this book.I purchased it because I thought that this would be an excellent read from a fellow DC native but that was far from the truth.I didn't even read the whole book.I had to stop after about the ninth chapter.I tried to continue to see where the story led me but I just couldn't.The first nine chapter's were about the husband and his wife living in DC and the husband wanting to move his family somewhere in Prince George's County, MD.They had two son's, they lived in an apartment, and the husband had two jobs to save money. That was all that happened in those nine chapters. This is definitely not a must read.Nothing jumps out and grabs you and makes you not want to continue reading.I am truly upset that I wasted my money on this book.I surely hope that his next book is more interesting.

Possession Review

Guess Who's Lurking in Your Bed?

It appears that Yaassa has it going on.She's attractive, easy going and independent. The problem is:her ex-boyfriend, Chejuan refuses to accept that their relationship has ended.

Chee's relationship with Yaassa begins like so many other young couples. He's attentive, courteous and devoted.Until he starts to believe, that Yaassa is slipping away from him.Chee's issues with abandonment lead to his obsession towards Yaassa.

Yaassa suffers from abandonment issues herself.Although sympathetic to Chee's devastating childhood, she reluctantly finds comfort in an old friend, Domino.Equally as charismatic as Chee, Domino has always been in love with Yaassa.Unfortunately, Yaassa wasn't willing to commit to him due to her very own insecurities.

What I found most startling, is how Chee would justify his actions after severely beating Yaassa.Did he really think a dozen of roses and a note might possibly excuse his crude behavior? He also cunningly mentioned the deaths of his mother and grandmother following a beating. This man was truly tormented.

"Possession" garnered my complete attention from beginning to end. It's certainly worthy of *****.

Kudos to Da'Neen.

Even though their relationship has been over for a while now, somehow Chee still has access to her apartment. He even shows up in the middle of the night, unannounced and uninvited, just to wrap his arms around her in bed as if they re still a couple. For Chee, a man who s used to having everything he wants in the streets, Yaassa better not even think about uttering another man s name, let alone date one.Chee s willing to do whatever it takes to keep Yaassa all to himself, even if it means hurting her. When Chee takes his obsession too far, Yaassa turns to Domino, a friend whose never ran away from a fight, and whose been laying in the cut, for just the right moment to be with Yaassa.

I Don't Wanna Be Right Review

I Don't Wanna Be Right

When I first started reading this book I felt as if I was reading the previous one, "If Lovin You Is Wrong". However, as the novel progresses you get to see the story from Roman's point of view, with a few added twists. The storyline is bananas and it involves Lance, Holiday and Roman 3 co-workers who all end up in a crazy love triangle. Everything is told from Roman's point of view, so if you read the first book, a lot of things get explained, like Roman's trip and Holiday's house being burned and all that. After reading this, I really blame Holiday for half of the drama, she really should have broke it off with one of these guys, the rest I blame on Roman b/c he knew Lance wanted Holiday first, and his dogging ways bring out some psycho women! Lance is really the victim here. This book shows you there really isa thin line between love and hate! The ending was very surprising, but I was satisfied. I look forward to this author's next book, she's got a wild imagination!

Product Description:
Roman Broxton has it going on for himself in the good looks department, and he even has the lucrative career in which aids his ability to keep the ladies flocking at his feet. Since money is no object and women are the subject, sex for Roman is a warranted consequence, earning him the playah's degree he so rightfully deserves. But, what Roman doesn't see coming is a dose of his own medicine. That remedy comes in the form of one Holiday Simmons, a force which causes Roman to rethink his womanizing ways.

Holiday Simmons is a sexy sr. financial analyst, former colleague and friend of Roman Broxton. Until Holiday, Roman's never known anyone with all the makings to possibly be his wifey. The two become a couple, but hard luck begins when Roman discovers his good looks and charm alone isn't enough to maintain such a headstrong woman. Worse than that, double misfortune lies within the possibility of Holiday leaving him for his best friend.
What happens when the tables are turned on a player? He could either wallow in the bed he's made, or he will rock the world surrounding it. For Roman Broxton, both depictions are likely and extreme scenarios.

This book was okay; nothing to buy really. Let me give a quick run-down of the stories.

Crowning Miss Baby Mama-Totally predicatble.
Power- My favorite story in the book.
Bossy- This was so lame. It was all over the place, and the "twists" were whack.
Game Face-This was pretty good; my second favorite story. I liked it.
Beyatch!-Was pretty good too.

Overall, i gave this book 3 stars. Borrow it if you can...

Just remember: It's a dirty game, and women are usually the best players.
